Wishing supporters a Merry Christmas

The Hill 112 Memorial Foundation would like to take this opportunity to wish all friends and supporters a happy and joyous Christmas and a wonderful, healthy New Year.

The Foundation has enjoyed a busy 2022 with the highlight being the premiere of our documentary A Canterbury Tale which has now been released on DVD and is available for sale the website at thehill112.com for just £17.50 including P&P (UK only. Overseas P&P costs available on request).

We also held another very successful We WILL Meet Again show at Betteshanger Country Park, Deal, Kent and planning is now underway for next year’s fabulous event, which will see a change of weekends. Put 19 and 20 August 2023 in your new year’s diaries now!

Trustee Fred Ross has been busy giving talks about the battle for Hill 112, illustrated with a short film, and selling copies of Albert’s book and the new DVD. He has been kept busy with Rotary Clubs and other organisations, but he’s always happy to spread the word, so please make contact if your organisation is looking for an experienced speaker on a fascinating topic.

All profits made from Fred’s efforts and all the team’s other endeavours go straight to the Hill 112 funds for maintenance and to support plans to redesign the Garden of Remembrance, which we hope to be able to achieve by 2024, which will mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle for Hill 112..

Thank you from our hearts for the support you give the Foundation in helping keep the Memorial at Hill 112 alive as a place to remember those who sacrificed so much in that historic battle.
