The Battle for Hill 112 – A Canterbury Tale tells the story of one of the most crucial battles of World War Two in which 7,000 men, many of them from Scottish regiments, were killed.

Edward Green, who donated the necklace, enjoyed a distinguished career as managing director of both Mappin and Webb and Garrard the Crown Jewellers and as President of Asprey in the United States. He is a board member of the National Galleries of Scotland and a Deputy to the Lord Lieutenant for Edinburgh.

"We are incredibly grateful to Edward for donating this stunning prize and for all those people who so generously bought tickets," commented foundation chair Annette Figg.
